Note from Sundara...This yarn base can be super fun to dye, but I've found that the Daily Dream inspiration can make me feel limited. Because if I just I throw dye in pots with this yarn, I can get really fun and unsual colors, but I have no idea how they will turn out. Which doesn't work when one is trying to aim for a specific "inspiration" color. So I decided to cut -loose, go a little bonkers, and threw dye and yarn in my pots without any direction to see what would happen. It was fun and, honestly, I totally love the yarn.
#1 (far left) started off orange and then I put purple on it. It's maybe my favorite of the bunch. It's so unusual. Kind of like a leopard on acid.
#2 (second from left) is pink and green, which has been my favorite color combination since I was 2 years old. So you pretty much can't go wrong there.
#3 (middle) as supposed to be indigo on bright teal, but I got carried away and now it's a dark navy-teal. If you aren't up for crazy colored yarn or you need a sort-of-solid to balance out a multicolored project, this is perfect.
#4 (second from right) is teal over pale peachy-pink. It's lovely. Less leopard on acid for those of you who want something multi-colored but less crazy.
#5 (far right) is the same pale peachy-pink base as #4, but with blue over it, so if you have a project that needs two coordinating colors, #4 and #5 work perfectly. It's a fabulous summery, Mediterranean blue.
"Curiosities" will not be dyed again. Updated: 3 skeins or less left of each color. #1 is sold out.
Lace Silky Alpaca is 328 yards and 50 grams of 75% brushed baby suri alpaca and 25% mulberry silk.

Note from Sundara...I'm obviously on a berries kick, both to eat and to dye. I saw this and was thinking about all the different colors that go into making a blackberry "black." So many colors! So I deconstructed it. Because that's even more fun and interesting.
We have #1 (far left), a heathered-grey-purple layered with, well, something akin to the color of blackberry juice. It's gorgeous.
#2 (second from the left) is a deep, dark, rich blackberry-wine-red. It's obviously the darkest of the bunch and probably closest to a straight-up "blackberry" color.
#3 (middle) is a slightly brighter purple that looks like a crushed berry. Also delightful.
#4 (second from the right) is a dark, rich, unripened berry-red. It's also the color of bing cherries, if you want a more "summer berry" flavor to your yarn.
#5 (far right) puts the blue in blackberry, which is essential. As there is a huge element of blue in blackberries. Blackberries, are, at their essential nature, dark, dark, purple, and purple is red and blue mixed together. So We had to have blue. And this is a lovely one. Rich and bright despite being dark. It's got a hint of the warm summer sky that every blackberry needs to ripen.
So get one skein. Get all five. It's your choice. They are all lovely because you can never wrong with blackberries.
"Blackberries, Deconstructed" will not be dyed again. Half a batch of each color available.

Note from Sundara...I saw this and thought...drama! And you know what drama makes for? Show-stopper projects. The king of projects where, if there were a show called the Great British Knit-Off, you'd get a Hollywood Handshake and Prue would tell you your knitting is faultless. Apologies if you don't get the British Bake-Off reference, but trust me, you want faultless knitting and a Hollywood Handshake. It would validate every stitch you've ever made. You might even cry with joy.
And then there is the yarn. This is some pretty, pretty yarn. So much color going on in each skein and even more excitement and drama and show-stopping going on when you combine these three together in a project. So go imagine a world where the Great British Knit-Off is a thing,
stop some shows, and Paul Hollywood shakes your hand.
"The Beginning of Blossoms" will not be dyed again. Updated: 5 sets left. Each set includes 1 skein of each color.

Note from Sundara...I've had several of you ask for a set of 5 colors for Stephen West's "Treasure Trove Wrap," which, if you haven't seen it, is an awesome pattern. I want to knit it myself. I picked this photo because a)so pretty and b)such a great range color going on. The "Treasure Trove Wrap" pattern doesn't lend itself to having a pop of that pink bougainvillea, so I left it out, but wouldn't this be gorgeous in some other pattern with a pop of pinky-orange mixed in as well?
If you aren't up for Stephen's "Treasure Trove," his "Aurora Cabin" shawl is also lovely and calls for 5 colors. Joji has two fabulous patterns for a set of 5 colors: "Sowing the Seeds of Love" and Starting Point." Or, if you wanted to add you pop of pink to this set, Joji's "Overthrow Wrap" can be knit up in fingering weight instead of mohair and the pop of pink would be amazing as the skeleton lines that break up the sections of that shawl. Whatever you decide, it will be lush!
"Lush" will not be dyed again. Updated: 3 sets left. Each set includes 1 skein of each color.

Note from Sundara...This is such an unusual color for a rose that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I also thought that it would make a great transition color for your projects, i.e. a summer to fall color. But then I realized it would be a great year-round color. I could see this working in autumn, winter, spring, and summer. So that's some awesome versatility, especially since, despite the heat and sunshine, when it comes to knitting, fall is right around the corner.
I dyed this as "solid," or you know, a hand-dyed solid. Which means the color has enough "solidness" about it that you can use it for all sorts of stitch patterns: lace, cables, fair isle, slip stitch, brioche. Whatever you could dream up. But, it's got just enough tonal and hue variation, that it will never be boring, and your project will have all sorts of depth and delight. And it's fingering merino, which is the most versatile yarn of all time. So this is pretty much perfect in every way, and we should all Gather Our Roses because autumn is right around the corner.
"Gather yes Roses" will not be dyed again.
