The Velvet Peony

Note from Sundara... My mother's peony's are blooming and the reds are just so gorgeous. I was a little hesitant to try a red because reds can sometimes be a little tetchy, especially when you have a bit of silk. They can be resistant to getting that glossy darkness without the dye having to be so super saturated that it ends up rubbing off on your hands. This, fortunately, is glossy and saturated but does not rub off on your fingers. So yay for whatever dye fairies decided to bless the pots when I dyed this. Because it is as spectacular as the peonies that inspired it.
