Note from Sundara...I was asked for a light yellow sock yarn, and I thought "I should pair that with a blue." And even though I did blue yesterday, it seemed like a brilliant idea. And then I came upon Starry Night, which I had no idea actually is called "The Starry Night" and look at those pretty colors paired together! Van Gogh knew what he was doing.
Socks are the obvious choice for this yarn, but have you seen "The Nile" by Foteini Sinopoulou? Use blue as the main color and yellow as the accent. You could even get 2 skeins of the blue and throw in a couple more section repeats for a bigger shawl. Another fun alternative is "Arte Nuova" by RacheI Illsley. It's a cute summer sweater that could use blue as the main color and yellow as the color work. Or you know, knit socks. There is nothing wrong with socks!
"The Starry Night" will not be dyed again. Updated: one skein of blue and 3 skeins of yellow left.
