Note from Sundara...Our local weather guy has told us summer is officially over and I've been thinking about sweaters. Then I got my first order of aran merino from the mill in months and months and well, I realize it seems a little silly to use a sweater for color inspiration for yarn, but isn't this just the best red sweater and don't you sort of want to cast-on for it right now?
Unfortunately, this sweater is from a fashion blog (here, scroll WAY down to see a few more shots of it), so we can't all cast-on right now. But I'm sure there is something similar out there in Ravelry or the more industrious of you will go figure out how to design one of these yourself.
The actual red of this yarn is a little more subdued than the yarn photo, but a tad brighter than the sweater photo. At least on my monitor. It's a gorgeous true red, with brighter and darker bits to add interest. I thought it perfect for fall and winter sweaters, whatever pattern you pick.
