Note from Sundara...I have a folder of pale peach inspiration photos that I've been trying to dye the color of for years. Pale colors are problematic because when you reduce the dye down to that little, you often just get a very basic hue that looks like all the other lighter colors I dye. Like pink. Or Purple. Or Grey. You lose the nuance of the color that you'd get when you use the dye at a darker shade. The dye companies know this and sell a bunch of "pale" colors that you can use in greater quantities––I won't get into the theory of it––but needless to say, with all my experimentation, I had yet to find just the right shade of pale peach. I'd come close. But not perfect. And I am nothing if not a perfectionist.

On a whim, I tried a new dye shade that was a pale peach I hadn't tried before. And OH MY GOD it was perfect. Absolute peach perfection. I don't know why I'd held out for so long. Maybe fear of disappointment. I don't know. But now. Now we have absolutely perfect pale peach. The pale peach of my dreams. The pale peach that has haunted me. Go forth and knit. You will love it. You will want to eat it. Or roll around naked it in. It's just that good.

"The Most Perfectly Pale Peach" will not be dyed again. I'm not tempting fate because this may have been a fluke and I can't take the disappointment. Two batches available. Yarn will ship later this week.
