Note from Sundara...We have what my mother calls an "infestation of wild rabbits" and what I call "all our cute bunnies." She's trying to keep them from eating her dahlias, and I'm trying to get them to let me pet them. Neither of us are all that successful. BUT, in what is the worst non sequitur I've made in forever, it made me think a dahlia would be the perfect inspiration color for my first time dyeing 100% silk in forever.

Because look at that dewy dahlia! I'd eat it if I were a bunny. It's an amazing pink over a butter lemon yellow. It's to die for. Or maybe roll around naked in because dying is a little extreme. I'm personally tempted to keep a couple skeins of this to knit "Sanctuary" by Stephanie Earp because I've been lusting after that sweater for forever and it would be amazing in silk. Or, if you're not up for a sweater, even a short-sleeve one, I'd knit Purl Soho's "Open Air Wrap," which I've also been lusting after. You'll only need two skeins. It's also amazing. And would be more amazing in silk. Super smooth and silky around your neck. I'm so tempted to keep some to knit that. But I won't! Because there isn't much of this available. So get it before it's gone.

"The Dewy Dahlia" won't be dyed again. Two batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
