The Black Knight

Note from Sundara... You are probably thinking no way would you want to knit with a fluffy alpaca yarn in the heat of summer. But hear me out. When I dyed this, my dye studio was probably about 90 degrees and I tap out at about 65. I hate the heat. Yet this was so soft and fluffy and cloud-like, that it took every ounce of willpower I had not to wrap it around my neck and luxuriate in it. Because I had to dye it in a pot of scalding hot water. The yarn is like dandelion fluff only softer. And knitting with dandelion fluff in the heat of summer is amazing. So try it. You might be pleasantly surprised that you too will want to wrap this around your neck even if it is 95 and climbing.

And the color? Did you know there is a variety of sweet peas that are actually this color and they are called The Black Knight? If you can't grow some, you can get this yarn. Or you can grow some and get this yarn. But the Black Knight! OMG. How cool is that?
