Note from Sundara...I've been trying to figure out how to dye yarn from this inspiration photo for years and years because these pinks and oranges and yellows and peaches and apricots are my FAVORITES. But I can't pair those gorgeous colors with those lovely greens. Then, a few days ago, (because I am, apparently, slow) I realized, especially with all the green I've been dyeing lately, that you could just use this yarn with some green yarn you might already have on hand and you'd have yourself a little spring bouquet of a project. Problem solved.
Here's the flower portion. Hopefully you have some lovely green yarn stashed away somewhere. So what to knit for a spring bouquet?*** I'm a fan of two color brioche, specifically Stephen West's "Flying Foxtail Wrap" (2 skeins if you use this as the CC, 3 if you use as the MC). Alternatively, if you are up for a sweater, I've been in love with "Zweig" by Caitlin Hunter. Check the pattern for yardage based on sizes. Or, if you just want to knit some socks, how about "Madeline" by Kate Poe? Just a skein of this and a skein of whatever green you have around.
"Spring Bouquet" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
***Crocheters, I haven't forgotten you. I adore the "Alma" sweater by Tatsiana Kupryianchyk. I'd use this color as the pattern color at the neckline.
