Note from Sundara...I wonder if maybe I should have called this Sky Drenched, as technically the snow is white and this color is all light icy blues, but Snow Drenched somehow seemed more poetic, so hopefully you'll forgive me. One of you requested a light, icy blue when I asked for color suggestions for this new yarn base. I'm a big fan of light colors, so I was excited to see how the light blue would look. Turns out it is roll-around-naked-in-the-yarn pretty. I won't. But I'm tempted. Please let me know if you have any other color requests for this yarn.
What to knit? So many options. Anything that calls for lace silky mohair. This is softer and not as scratchy, for those of us who can't take mohair. It's not a slam-dunk substitute, but it's a nice option to have. Hold this together with some DK and knit Petiteknit's "Champagne Cardigan." Or, hold it together with some fingering and knit Stephen West's "Melted Mirage" shawl. It's what I'm currently obsessed with. Because it's fluffy, brioche, and has tassels. Everything a girl could want.
"Snow Drenched" will not be dyed again. Two batches available. Yarn will ship later this week.
