Note from Sundara...This is such pretty yarn! Seriously, I know I say that a lot, but this the way the silk thread at the center of the yarn picks of the light of the dark teals and the blacks, all shimmery, like light on the ocean (more than the photo lets on). And then the hazy fluff of the mohair surrounds it with a halo of the darker, softer clouds of the dark grey and those same green-teals. Oh my. It's enough to make one feel a little faint.
My only real regret is that there is only one and a half batches available and I can't freakin' remember which dye I used to get this color and I'll probably never be able to reproduce it. Plus, it would only look like this on lace silky mohair, so it wouldn't be worth it to dye any other yarn this particular color. So I'll just have to store this in my memory of that one time I dyed this perfect yarn and was never able to repeat it. At least it is Friday. If you get some, and you knit yourself something, do send me a photo. It will make my day.
