Note from Sundara...
I haven't dyed a really good true red in ages because it's always hard to get the lighter bits to stay red and not end up pink. And, if I super saturate the yarn in order to eliminate the pink bits, I often end up with excess dye on the skein (despite my best efforts at rinsing) and you end up getting red all over your fingers when knitting.
But I really wanted to include red roses in this week of flower inspired Daily Dreams, so I carefully layered the dye just to the point where the lighter bits look more red than pink so I could use as little dye as possible. I've worked with this color a bit and so far, no excess dye has stained my hands red. So, if you have been hankering for some red in your yarn life, get this color while you can. It's fabulous!
