Note from Sundara...I saw this photo and thought it would look JUST like how the silky linen alpaca yarn might dye up, what with all those fun flecks of linen that don't take the dye (because I dye with "protein" fiber dyes and this yarn is specially blended to leave the linen undyed, hence the flecks). It turned out spectacularly.
It's super perfect robin's egg blue. Maybe a little more green than blue, but I guess these are more green than blue, so that's what I was going for anyway. It's delightfully spring, but with the linen, it's one of those colors that you could knit a lightweight top out of and wear underneath something year-round because the color doesn't scream SPRING. It's got that chameleon-quality to it. So you can celebrate spring while knowing you'll have something you can wear even if you don't finish it until, say, November.
