Note from Sundara...I'm saying that this is the last of the Quoth of the Raven. And I'm going to try to stick with that. We'll see.
As before, this is raven black with hints of purple and slate-grey-blue (but more purple than blue) both in the darkness and in the highlights through out. And there are highlights through out. This is not a solid black. We want those shimmers of light that those glossy feathers catch in the sun. It's what makes it so much more than just your average skein of dark yarn.
"Quoth the Raven" will not be dyed again. Most likely. Just three batches available. Yarn will ship second or third week of February.

7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...I'd wanted to do another darker/lighter version of an inspiration photo like that amazing "Living on the Edge" that sold out in about ten minutes a couple weeks ago, but since I already have plans to re-create that inspiration photo in another way, I went looking for different inspiration photo that would also be my favorite colors in darker and lighter versions. I could not pass up this glorious, cheerful rose. Somewhere between pink and red washed with yellow to make something that veers into orange. but somehow it is all of those colors at once. It's amazing. It will cheer you up like nothing else, and who doesn't need cheering up? Goodness knows I do.
Like before, there is a lighter and darker skein to alternate for the most amazing color variation. Maybe a shawl or scarf. Maybe something more? I'd do a shawl. And it is singles, which is soft and smooth and lovely. Seriously. This yarn is like cheerful in a skein.
"From the Center" will not be dyed again. I dyed two batches of each the light and dark so hopefully there is enough for everyone. Yarn will ship late next week.

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...I'm vacillating between super wintery inspiration and yearning for spring inspiration and today I went with spring, but instead of bright! spring, I went with "spring that still feels a bit influenced by winter" spring. Which hopefully makes sense to everyone and not just to my brain.
But the color, which is easier to describe than the inner workings of my brain, is a super super pretty mix of pale lilacs. And lilacs here being the hues of everything from indigo to violet to purple. It's gorgeous. And would look really fabulous against a black coat, except I'm forgetting it is sock yarn, so maybe with some black shoes? If you want to sneak some fabulous pale purple on your ankles the next time you leave the house with some black shoes and black pants. Because wouldn't that would be daring and fun and spring-y?

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...After last week's pink mohair, one of you asked for this in sport, and I was happy to oblige, since I am always happy to oblige pink yarn. It turned out to be perfect serendipity because after all my complaining about not getting snow this year, we woke up to white stuff everywhere and are forecast to have 10-12 inches by the end of the weekend. Needless to say I am EXCITED.
Sadly, we have no blossoms anywhere, so we'll just have to get our thrills from this lovely sport weight pinkness along with the white flakey stuff. Assuming you have the white flaky stuff. If you don't, you'll just have to be satisfied with the pink merino stuff. Which is pretty awesome all on its own.
