Peas So Sweet

Note from Sundara...A few months ago, I dyed up a silky mohair that matched a singles color I had dyed a few weeks prior and mentioned it would work well if anyone wanted to knit the "Birds of a Feather" shawl by Andrea Mowry, which takes 2 skeins singles and 1 skein mohair. You all got super excited and bought the yarn super fast, and I thought I best dye up some more of those yarns in matching colors for you. So here it is.

Because the lace silky mohair takes dye A LOT differently from the other yarn bases, I'm pretty limited in what sort of colors I can dye in order to have these two yarns look like twins and not like distant cousins. I realize I already dyed sweet pea inspired yarn this week, but what can I say, I love me some sweet peas. And who doesn't love a pale pink with a pale yellow-green? This is divine. Light and airy, almost heavenly.

Again, you'll need 2 skeins singles and 1 skein mohair for the shawl. Each yarn base is sold separately, so you'll need to add both to your cart before checking out. I'll do my best to match all 3 skeins, but there is variation in how the silky mohair takes the color compared to the singles. This will just make for a more interesting shawl.
