Note from Sundara...Cherries are one of my favorite fruits and we've been eating them by the bagful for the last month or so. It occurred to me, as I was greedily shoving them in my mouth, that I couldn't remember the last time I'd dyed a cherry-inspired yarn, which, is just wrong, because cherries are so gorgeous. Just look at that color! Don't you want to wrap your neck up in that color? Or maybe knit yourself a sweater in that color? I certainly do.
Actually, you'll all laugh at me because I'm currently obsessed with Tunisian crochet (Because why haven't I gotten on that already? It's so cool.) so what I really want to do is crochet myself the "Cobbled Street Cowl" by Sol Rencoret which technically needs 2 skeins, but would be just fine a little smaller out of 1 skein. If you aren't up for learning something new, "Bark Lines" by Joji would be flipping amazing in this color (2 skeins). Seriously. Heirloom worthy. Or, if you want a quick 1 skein knit, the "Copilot" cowl by Dominique Trad is one of my new favorites.
"Summer Cherries" will not be dyed again. Just under two batches available. Yarn will ship next week.

Note from Sundara...Sometimes I get myself boxed in to using the same group of dyes. I suppose everyone does that. Falls into a comfort zone. So, I decided to challenge myself and I picked a bunch of dyes I never use and found an inspiration photo I thought might work with those dyes. 95% of me thought this wouldn't work at all and I'd have to find something else to turn this yarn into. 95% of you probably think these colors look terrible together and think I should have turned this yarn into something else.
But those other 5% of you who like these gorgeous autumn greens and oranges and takes delight in combining them together: today is your day! I don't think I've ever dyed yarn this color. Or if I have, it was so many, many, many years ago, I have no memory of it whatsoever. This color is fascinating. I usually have no luck dyeing orange and green in the same skein of yarn. But this! Turned out phenomenal. So get some if this is your thing. You won't regret it.
"Journey into Autumn" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.

Note from Sundara...I've had this inspiration photo saved for years but I've never used it because, well, I guess I didn't think anyone would like it. But I took another look at it the other day and I decided I had to use it because I don't have many inspiration photos with such a huge range of greens. Just look at it. SO MANY greens. All the greens! And we love all the greens.
And even though it might be hot where you are, too hot for aran weight yarn. it's somehow already the second half of August and I'm actually knitting chunky, so it's time to start thinking about sweaters. We've got the "Estela" sweater by Emily Johannes, which is a very elegant cardigan that was just published and would look amazing in this color. Or, if you are looking for a pullover, "Vivi" by Marie Greene looks fabulous. Totally interesting stitch pattern without being overly complicated. Or, if sweaters are too much to contemplate, hats are good! You can't go wrong with the ever popular "Hurricane Hat" by Andrea Guldin. Just 1 skein and it's a free pattern.
"Leafy" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.

Note from Sundara...I loved how this inspiration photo felt all sweeping and soft and whispery. And of course, the colors. It's grey and that blush of, I guess, wine. I can't figure out what color to call that sandy-beach-red. It's very pretty, though, whatever color you want to call it.
I hear that fall patterns are coming out, so I looked for new knitting*** patterns for this yarn. "Comfy Cozy Shawl" by All Knit Up Designs look super cozy and squishy. You'd need exactly 2 skeins. Even if you aren't thinking about it for this yarn, you should check out the "Tavalli Cardigan" by rosa p. It's delightful and totally wearable. A wardrobe staple. It would be amazing in this color, though. And, because despite the heat, winter is right around the corner, the "Fossiili" mitts by Heidi Heinrichs look super interesting to knit and are very delicate and pretty without being fussy. Just one skein!
"Sounds of the Ocean" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
***Crocheters: It takes a ridiculous 4 skeins, but I'm in love with the "Viridienne" shawl by Rachel Henri. I might even crochet one for myself. And it's a free pattern!
