Note from Sundara...This is a gorgeous dark forest green with yellow-greens and pine greens and, uh, woodsy greens. It's very green. Lots of greens. One batch available.

Note from Sundara...A lovely customer asked for some red sock yarn similar to a previous red I'd dyed. I'm not totally sure if I got close to what she wanted, but I fell in love with these bougainvillea flowers because they were such an unusual color, and this is definitely red sock yarn. It's also got oranges and pinks and salmons and corals and all sorts of other pretty, pretty floral hues. Hopefully she'll be happy. If not she can email me, and I'll try again. And either way, the rest of us have lucked out because did I mention the pretty, pretty floral hues?
I like this yarn enough that I'd use it for a sweater, "The V-Back Tee" by Jamie Hoffman is a fun summer option, or you can make it long-sleeved for a warmer version. "Scotch Broom" is a sweet little crop top sweater that Wool & Pine have styled over a dress. I'd knit it longer and wear it with pants because I think crop tops are the devil, but you do you. Or, if you absolutely must knit socks, the "Penne" socks are cute little anklets by Atsuko Yamamoto that is a free pattern and only needs 1 skein. Yay for that.
"Bougainvillea Rouge" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
P.S. If you look very, very closely at this yarn photo, there is a strand that looks like it isn't properly spun. It is actually a tie keeping the skein from getting tangled and not one of the strands of yarn. I usually hide those ties better when I photograph the yarn, but I missed this one.

Note from Sundara...I had this undyed fingering merino in hand and my dye pots were filled with hot water, all ready to go and I hadn't yet decided what to dye. I stared at them and stared at them and they said "Beach glass. Dye beach glass." And you know, when your dye pots start talking to you, you either get yourself checked into a mental institution or you just dye what they tell you. I dyed beach glass. It felt like the right thing to do.
And so I went looking for a beach glass inspiration photo, and this one felt right. Since this color was all about feeling. You should definitely get some if it feels right. And then knit whatever the yarn feels it needs to be. And if anyone laughs at you for that, tell them my dye pots told you it was okay. Because my dye pots are always right.
"The Glass Pebbles" will not be dyed again. Unless the dye pots say so. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.

Note from Sundara...You know those relaxation...um, tapes? Or what used to be tapes back when there was no internet, but now they are audio thingies you listen to in apps called things like "Calm" or "Zen" on your phone. Go with me here. The soft, relaxing voice tells you to visualize yourself in whatever location you'd find calm and quiet. Or something like that. Mine was always a tropical beach. Except my zenned out bliss was ruined because I always knew, deep down, that tropical beaches are too hot and humid and windy and have too many bugs. I am a Capricorn. I cannot help myself. But I saw this photo, and it didn't look too humid or too hot or too windy and maybe there were no bugs, and I thought that it could maybe work as my happy spot. And so we needed yarn for it. Because all happy spots need yarn.
The color is a light calming blue-aqua-grey mix that I would suggest knitting "European Road Trip" shawl by Espace Tricot with because while we are in our happy spot, this has got to be one of the most relaxing knits I could find. And then you'll have a lovely, calming, pretty piece of soft, luxurious knitting to wrap around your neck when you can't sit down and visualize your happy spot. (2 skeins needed).
"Meditate" will not be dyed again. Two batches available. Yarn will ship later next week.

Note from Sundara...One of my lovely customers emailed me with a very specific request, which I was very happy to oblige. She is going on vacation later this autumn to Spain and Greece, including a stop on the island of Santorini, and she wants to knit the "Andecha" shawl by Belén Fernandez in a Santorini blue. This way, she'll have a shawl to throw on in the cooler evenings that will have Spanish and Greek influence. Additionally––I said she was specific––she wanted the Santorini blue to be more of a "solid blue, but with tonal variegation." How could I say no to that? Ask and you shall receive.
The "Andecha" shawl uses sport weight yarn, so if you'd like to knit along and pretend you too are going on vacation to Spain and Greece (because we have established that we all want to go on vacation to Santorini at all times) you'll need 2 skeins of this. You'll also 75 yards of 2 contrasting colors or 150 yards of 1 contrasting color. Our lovely customer is using some leftover white she has from another project, which I think is fabulous, since it is very Santorini. If you don't have white, lemon yellow would be fabulous. So would teal (OMG, use teal.) Pink! Always pink! Purple. Or anything bright or light (that isn't soft or muted) will be amazing.
"Santorini Summer" will not be dyed again. Three batches available. Yarn will ship next week.
