Mum's the Word

Note from Sundara... I realize it is not chrysanthemum season, but my mom just had her thyroid removed and I thought dyeing some yarn that I could potentially knit into something she could wrap around her neck might be nice. I cannot resist a good pun, even when doing a nice thing for my mom. And this color is perfect for her. So this was win-win-win all around.

It is a win for you if you want something delectable to knit in the heat. Silky yak is one of the smoothest yarns, so it glides through your fingers and doesn't feel oppressive on your lap. The color is shiny and works well for so many people. Like seriously so many people. My mom and all my sisters would look amazing in this and they have the most diverse range of coloring that you wouldn't ever peg them as related. And of course, it is super pretty. Like so super pretty I want to keep it for myself and not actually knit something for my mom. So maybe consider that if you get some. Don't be unselfish. Get it for yourself.
