Lovesong

Note from Sundara...It's pretty obvious why I picked this very lovely rose as inspiration. I'm dying to get myself one. All that ruffly pale, delicate pink loveliness. I had some of this  fingering silky cashmere alpaca to dye, and it was perfect. The soft sheen of the silk combined with the soft fluff of the alpaca and then the luxurious softness of the cashmere.

You're probably thinking you don't want to knit with alpaca and cashmere in the summer, but it's actually another one that's a great choice. Surprisingly smooth and soft, it'll glide through your fingers. You could knit a light tank that would work year round. Or a shawl to snuggle over your shoulders on cooler knits that will then keep your neck warm come winter. This color, all feminine and pretty, will go with everything. There's no reason not to splurge a little on a skein or three. It's virtually practical.

"Lovesong" will not be dyed again.
