Note from Sundara: My small hamlet in the Pacific Northwest got another dusting of snow this week and I needed to dye yarn that was inspired by pretty flowers, lest I fall into a deep despair from the never-ending muck that this winter feels like.
These pink and plum calla lilies certainly do the trick. I've always loved the pink version of calla lilies, the deeper and richer the better. The yarn is a medley of plums and warm pinks and some lighter highlights. In my zeal to show you the full range of color in the yarn photo, I ended up not showing enough of the primary color of each skein, which is the darkly saturated plum. It's stunning, especially with the bits of other pinks creating a spark of interest here and there.
Whatever you knit out of this color will not only cheer you up immensely, if you are in the need of cheering, but also give those of you who shy away from bright colors a way to wear something almost bright without being screaming bright.

FINGERING MERINO is 490 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.

It knits up delightfully at 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2/2-2.75mm needles.

Gently hand was in tepid water for project longevity. Orders for 2 or more skeins will be matched as closely as possible.
