Note from Sundara...I've been obsessing about water lilies the last few weeks, but hadn't decided until now that I wanted to incorporate both the water and the flower in the same skein, which is a bit of a challenge, but I think this pulls it off. It is super pretty, and that's the goal, right? Pretty yarn? This is a lovely, sheer pink pulling itself out of a watery, murky teal-green. Complete with sunlight sparkling curtesy the silky and petal softness curtesy the cashmere. This is, by far, my favorite yarn base. It cannot get any softer.

So what to knit? Something to wrap around your neck so you can get the full loveliness of this yarn. The "Dragonfly's Path" wrap by Jennifer Weissman has a nice synchronicity, since Dragonflies and waterlilies are always found together. You'll need 2 skeins. Or, if you are feeling like splurging, Isabell Kraemer's "Cloudesley" sweater will show off all the color and let you have all this yarn next to your skin. Or you know, get 1 skein and knit yourself a hat. Or maybe a cowl. You can't go wrong with a hat or a cowl.

"Lily of the Water" will not be dyed again. Two batches available.
