Note from Sundara...This is a color I dyed back in April of 2020 that has been haunting me for a couple months now. I keep looking at the photo of the yarn and the inspiration photo and wishing I'd been smart enough to write down how I dyed it. Because I didn't. Stupid me. I decided to try to recreate it and see if I could come close to the original. I think I did okay. Okay enough that here we are and here is what I said back then. Since it sums up what I feel about it pretty well...
I took some artistic liberty with this yarn, as the inspiration photo doesn't have a lot of "deep blue sky" but I wanted "deep blue sky" in the yarn, so you know, the yarn dyer is in charge and if she wants blue in the yarn, she gets blue in the yarn.
Which is good, because the blue and the purple and the indigo and all the colors in between are amazing, and I guarantee if you wear something made out of this, you'll feel like lilacs on a sunny day.

Extra Fine Fingering Merino is 437 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.
