Note from Sundara...a few weeks ago I dyed some silk and yak yarn in a dark citron green and it was snapped up very quickly. I'm not sure if it was the color or the yak that made it in such high demand, but it reminded me that I haven't dyed a citron-olive-green yarn in a long while.
It's such a striking color. Bold and attention getting, yet not overpoweringly bright or garish. It looks amazing with navy, brown, or black or, if you are thinking a sweater, would look fantastic with jeans or even something a little dressier. This particular shade will be interesting as both stockinette or something with a little more interest, like cables. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope someone out there will knit themselves a cable sweater out of this color so I can live my fantasy sweater dreams through you.
