I liked the golden brown tones juxtaposed against the blue, which are just gorgeous in this fingering silky merino. I tried a slightly different dye method with this fingering silky merino that allowed me to get a much more variegated color than I ever have on this particular yarn base. For whatever reasons, fingering silky merino likes to soak up the dye in a sort of somewhat solid way, so I've struggled to get variations in hues.
