So today I dyed one of my "less popular" yarn bases in an effort to keep this from selling out quite so fast. And "less popular" is, you know, relative. And also, unfathomable––at least to me––because if I were able to knit a sweater in a reasonable amount of time (i.e. didn't take me a year and a half to knit a sweater out of chunky) I would totally knit it out of this yarn base because it is TO DIE FOR. So amazing. You get way more squishiness than the fingering silky merino because DK is thicker and lovelier and yet you still get all that silk and merino soft shininess. Seriously. Take my word for it. Splurge and knit yourself a sweater. You will totally thank me for it.
And you all bought it up in 20 minutes! That's some sort of record. So here is more because I love you that much and hate that so many of you were denied this amazing yarn base.

Like last time, the color is a moody blue-black-grey with undertones of teal and green and sunlight-through-the-storm. It's spectacular darkety-dark, if you are in the mood for a darkety-dark sweater, hat, or whatever you might wish to knit in a heavier weight gauge!

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...So the fingering merino cashmere in this color sold out in about 45 minutes and I felt compelled to dye more even though I said I wasn't going to. I guess I'm a liar. But I hate disappointing you all when yarn sells out so fast and lots of you don't have a chance to get some. Hopefully this will make those of you who wanted some happy!
As before, this is raven black with hints of purple and slate-grey-blue (but more purple than blue) both in the darkness and in the highlights through out. And there are highlights through out. This is not a solid black. We want those shimmers of light that those glossy feathers catch in the sun. It's what makes it so much more than just your average skein of dark yarn.

Visit product page →Note from Sundara...I had a customer request some of this color in aran weight for a sweater, and since it sold out so fast, I thought it made sense to dye up a few more batches. Because it is just so pretty. But be forewarned that I had a lot of trouble matching skeins for those who ordered it last time, so be prepared to alternate skeins. I'll obviously do my best to send you the most matching skeins I can. The color is definitely worth the effort. I'd take the time and trouble for the results.
Like I said last time, the color is essentially a light-dove-purple-grey with hits of slightly darker magenta-grey and violet-grey through. It's breathtaking.
