Note from Sundara...Two years ago, our fig tree got "pruned" more vigorously than needed and we haven't had figs since. Actually, we got one this year, but the weather has been so awful, there is no way that sucker is going to ripen. I have been sadly fig-less. And they are my favorite fruit. Even more than cherries. So I decided to dye some. Because what we can't have in real life, we can always have in yarn.

And this one is just lovely. I looked at my one previous fig-inspired yarn and this one is way better. So much better. It's also, I think, the perfect sock color. It works with everything. Black shoes. Brown shoes. Jeans. Black pants. Yoga pants. Maybe not khakis. I guess I have to take back my works with everything blanket statement. But ALMOST everything. So many things it is worth getting. It even works with the ridiculous hot pink flamingo yoga pants I wear. It grounds them. Because figs are the perfect fruit and the perfect color. Get some. You won't regret it. Nor will your feet.

"Fresh Figs" will not be dyed again. Three batches minus a couple skeins available. Yarn will ship next week.
