Note from Sundara...I've dyed a few special requests from lovely customers who want to knit themselves Christmas projects, which got me thinking that I've never knit myself anything specifically Christmas-y and I've always been jealous of this bright red scarf my mom wears every December that always looks so festive and merry.

So while I may not actually get to wear this until next Christmas because I'm a slow knitter, I decided to start "Waiting For Rain" by Sylvia McFadden out of a beautiful bright red yarn. Extra Fine Fingering Merino is my new favorite shawl yarn, as it is sproingy and soft, so that was an easy choice of yarn bases (you'll need 2 skeins for this specific project). Cranberries seemed like an obvious choice for color inspiration and so here we are.

The yarn is every shade of red you can imagine while still seemingly being somewhat of a solid, so the lace will pop with brightness, but won't be overshadowed with variegation and the garter sections should be subtlety shaded and not at all boring. So if you'd like to knit yourself something for the holiday, or maybe next December (if you are slow like me, but like to make plans...), here's the yarn!

"Captivating Cranberry" is available to order until 10am, pacific, Friday, November 9. Yarn will ship next week.

Save on Shipping: If you think you'll be ordering Daily Dreams more than once in the next 30 days or so, you may have me hold and combine all your orders to save shipping costs. Include "Hold and combine shipping" in the NOTES section of checkout (not paypal notes). When I mail all your orders in about 4 weeks, I'll refund you the overage you paid for shipping.

FINGERING MERINO is 437 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
It knits up delightfully at 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2/2-2.75mm needles.
Gently hand was in tepid water for project longevity. Orders for 2 or more skeins will be matched as closely as possible.
