Note from Sundara...here in the Pacific Northwest, and I suspect most of the West Coast, we are in the midst of "June Gloom". Instead of warm sunshine, our summer starts off with cold and clouds. I even turned on the heater yesterday. It's depressing, but one bright spot in the gloom is the California poppies blooming everywhere, so I thought I'd dye up some sweater weather gauge yarn in a bright summer color.
This is a delectable mix of oranges veering into yellows and reds. It is very bright, so not for the faint of heart; just those of you who are bold enough to wear something so flagrantly orange.
"California Poppy" will not be dyed again; so if this color inspires you, you have until Saturday, 9:30m pacific time, to purchase. Get some while you can! Yarn will ship later next week.
ARAN MERINO is 246 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
It knits up delightfully at 4.5-5 stitches per inch on US 7-8/4.5-5mm needles.
Gently hand was in tepid water for project longevity.
