Au Naturel

Note from Sundara... Years ago, (nine to be exact––I looked it up), I had an epiphany. Whenever I was in a yarn store, I was inevitably drawn to those beautiful hanks of undyed, naturally colored cream, grey and honey skeins of wool from some rare breed of sheep. I loved the subtle color gradations that one little lamb can grow in its fleece. But, inevitably, when I knit with those yarns, I loved the outcome but I never, ever wore the dang thing because that sort of wool is so, so itchy and my skin is overly sensitive.

Then it dawned on me that I have the tools at my disposal to dye my deliciously soft yarns into these gorgeous, natural fleece colors and that I could basically have my cake and eat it too. So, all those years ago, I dyed up some "Au Natural" yarn and it was glorious. The result is still the subtle blend of the grey and honeys and creams you'd find in that gorgeous hank of itchy, all natural wool, but completely itch free. Which means we can have our cake and eat it too.

"Au Naturel" will not be dyed for another long while (and then, it will probably be a different yarn base). Three batches available.
