Note from Sundara...You are all going to be excited come February when I've finally dyed enough yarn that I can stop saying that THIS is definitely the best color I've dyed this year. Sorry! I can't help myself. I know I've dyed some lovelies and it's only January 12th, but this one! OMG. It's amazing. It's like if indigo and teal had a baby, it would be this yarn. It's perfection. And, even better, it's all shimmery and shiny from the silk and SUPER soft from the alpaca. I keep rubbing it against my cheek because it's so soft and pretty.

But what to make? I've had a lot of you ask me that about this new yarn base. I'm still a fan of a single color "Magpie Shawl" by Debbie Ford. Free pattern and 2 skeins needed. I also think it'd make a great transition sweater. Something lightweight you could wear on those spring days when it's cold enough to need a sweater but too warm to need a coat. Those days are coming! "Jaycee" by Isabell Kraemer is a cute little cardigan that doesn't require an extreme amount of yardage, even for the larger sizes. Or don't overthink it. Pretty much anything with a lot garter will do.

"A Mighty Gale" will not be dyed again.
