Mint Juleps at Midnight
extra fine sport merino
1 skein left!

Note from Sundara...I don't know why I choose this photo as inspiration because absolutely nobody is going to buy this yarn. I should just put all three batches in a big box and send it to my friend Vivien because she's the only person who will like this color. Worse, it's sport, which nobody buys, either.

Which is too bad because this is a super fantastic color. Look at it! It's got this lime green undertone covered in midnight blue-black. It's FASCINATING. And it will knit up so, so pretty. And sport. Do I need to sell you on what a great gauge sport is? Because it is my least popular weight. I don't know why. It's great. You could knit a "Beaufort 5" cardigan by Isabell Kraemer which, in sport, you could wear any time of year. Especially in this color. The pops of lime with the darkness make it a four season color. You could knit a "Birthday" pullover by ANKESTRiCK, which was inspired by Christy Turlington. You literally can't go wrong with something inspired by Christy Turlington. If neither of those work, Isabell Kraemer has a ton of other sport gauge sweaters to choose from, and if you aren't up for a sweater, the "Fichu Bleu" shawl is to die for, is a free pattern, and takes two skeins. I honestly don't know how I haven't knit myself one already.

"Mint Juleps at Midnight" will not be dyed again. As an aside, I'm not sure what they did to this particular run of yarn, but it is the softest merino I've ever come across. I thought it had silk in it, it was so soft. I think they fed those sheep butter.

Extra Fine Sport Merino is 328 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
6 stitches per inch on US 5/3.75mm needles.
Gently hand wash in tepid water for project longevity.
Orders for 2+ skeins will be matched as closely as possible.

      Odds & Ends #285
extra fine fingering merino

Note from Sundara...This is a variegated mix of dark indigo and deep dark sky blue. Or maybe the color of sunlight sparkling off the ocean. I'm not really what to call that lighter color. But's it's a gorgeous deep blue-turquoise. Just one batch available.

7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.

      The Rainforest
extra fine fingering merino
      The Rainforest
extra fine fingering merino

Note from Sundara...You gotta love this forest teal-green. It's using my new and improved dye methods, so the color is thoroughly saturated throughout the skein and the strands of the skein. Which you all seem to be loving, so I'll keep dyeing these kinds of colors for you.

You can do pretty much whatever you want with yarn dyed this way. It's as versatile as it comes, especially in fingering merino. And this color is one of those that works for almost everyone, too. And, now that I'm thinking about it, it's pretty much a four-season color. You could wear it year round and it would go with just about anything. It's like a non-neutral neutral. Can't beat that.

"The Rainforest" will not be dyed again. Updated: one batch left.

Extra Fine Fingering Merino is 437 yards and 100 grams of 100% super wash merino.
7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.

Note from Sundara...this is a totally random batch of yarn that includes 2 skeins extra fine fingering merino, two skeins fingering merino singles, two skeins high twist, and 1 skeins gold sparkle fingering merino. I only photographed the fingering merino, but all the skeins are the same color. There is very little variation from skein to skein and yarn base to yarn base.

7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.

      The Blooming Field
high twist fingering
3 sets left!

Note from Sundara...Before I ran out of these mini skeins, I wanted to dye a pink and green set because that's the greatest color combo of all time and we all need more pink and green in our lives. This photo was the closest I could find to what I had in mind, but it wasn't nearly as interesting, in terms of color variation, as I wanted and as you all deserved, so I oomph-ed it up. There's way more hues of pink in that tiny little mini skein than you'd imagine. And the green. Oh, the green. It's heart-stopping if you're a fan of green.

But as always, what to knit with this sort of yarn set? Again, the "Little Snow Flowers" hat by Lena Mathison is perfect if you want to showcase the green and pink for all to see: on your head! Otherwise, the "Mrs. Smith" socks Melanie Malinger look super fun to knit. And wear. Or! Actually, I found another hat that would be perfect. The "Passerine" hat by Erica Heusser has little birds on it and would be adorable. I might even knit it myself.

"The Blooming Field" will not be dyed again. Yarn is sold in sets of 1 skein of green and 1 mini skein of pink.

Mini skeins are 20 grams and 79 yards.

High Twist Fingering is 393 yards and 100 grams of 85% super wash merino and 15% nylon.
7 stitches per inch on US 3/3.25mm needles.

      Odds & Ends #261
fingering merino singles

Note from Sundara...This is a gorgeous medley of all sorts of greens and all sorts of blue-greens and everything in between. The dark bits are really more of a dark, deep, rich forest evergreen color and the parts of the skeins you can't see have a lot of medium to medium-dark and a few bits and bobs of light bits. So this color isn't quite as dark as it might appear. But only a tad not as dark. It's super, super pretty and pretty much a dream for any green and teal lover. Just one batch available.

      Odds & Ends #228
silver sparkle fingering merino
2 skeins left!

Note from Sundara...My mom saw this color and said "you have to knit me something out of that" except I can't remember the last time I saw her wear the last thing I knit for her, so until she starts wearing my knits on a more regular basis, she's out of luck. I'd much rather keep this yarn all for you who will get more use out of this spectacular color of gorgeous red-violet and blackened-burgundies. Even if it is only to keep in your stash until you find the most perfect project for it.
