Robin's Egg

Note from Sundara...okay, this will probably be my last Robin's Egg of the, well, I guess year? Several years? I don't dye Robin's Egg colors all that often, so this is probably it until I get struck by the overwhelming need to dye up something inspired by these adorable little eggs. It's usually a couple years between these things.

I went back to the original Robin's Egg inspiration photo for the fingering merino because I liked the little speckles and that this had a little, teensy bit more green in it. The color is somewhat "deconstructed" in the skein, although you can't see it in the photo, so there'll be some tonal and hue variation when you knit it up that will then give the overall project a glorious depth of...Robin's Egg!

"Robin's Egg" will not be dyed again.
