Note from Sundara... It wasn't until I was googling images of doves that I learned that it is actually Mourning Doves, not Morning Doves. Which is actually sort of depressing. So I'm going with Mourning Doves which I like a lot better. Clearly I've lived a charmed life, never having to learn what Mourning Doves are. But let's talk about this color.
It's fabulous. Pale creamy with dove grey and hints of purple and pink. It's so interesting. I put in a tiny bit of one of those "mystery dyes" I mentioned and I had planned on adding more color, but I couldn't because it was perfect as is.
"Morning Doves" will not be dyed again. Half a batch left.
