The Birth of Venus

Note from Sundara...I had a plan for this yarn. I had a photo picked out. It was going to be a day of neutrals. Because it's sport, which is the spinach of yarn bases. You hate it, but you need it. It's good for you. And a neutral in sport is like spinach mixed with kale. Even better for you. BUT THEN. OMG. Something happened in my dye pots and I threw out all my plans because I got a little color on one of the neutrals and I realized that putting a big wash of color over the first layer of neutrals ended up spectacular. I honestly don't think, in all my many, many, many years of yarn dyeing, that I've dyed anything like it. This is like putting hollandaise sauce on your spinach. It's yummy. Delicious. Gorgeous. So good. No reason to avoid the spinach that is sport. Because there are so many great things to make with sport and this color will make that project absolutely spectacular.
